E-Aadhaar Download

To download your Aadhaar card, follow these steps:

1. Visit the UIDAI Website: Go to the official Aadhaar website at uidai.gov.in.
2. Find the Download Option: On the homepage, locate and click on the “Download Aadhaar” link, which is often found under the “Aadhaar Services” section.
3. Enter Aadhaar Details: You’ll need to provide your Aadhaar number or VID (Virtual ID), along with other details such as your name, PIN code, and a captcha code for verification. If you don’t have your Aadhaar number handy, you can use the “Aadhaar Enrollment ID” if available.
4. Receive OTP: An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP on the website to proceed.
5. Download the PDF: After OTP verification, you’ll be able to download your Aadhaar card as a PDF. The PDF file will be password-protected. The default password is the first four letters of your name in uppercase followed by your birth year (e.g., JOHN1990).
6. Save and Secure Your Aadhaar: Save the downloaded PDF to a secure location on your device. Make sure to keep the password confidential to protect your personal information.

In case of any difficulties or if you need further help, you can contact UIDAI customer support or visit an Aadhaar enrollment center. For issues like not receiving the OTP or if your mobile number is not registered, you may need to update your details at an Aadhaar center.
