What is the beneficiary?
A beneficiary is a qualified person who can avail of benefits under a particular government scheme or service. Benefits can be direct cash payment, subsidy, healthcare protection, housing or food security.
How to check your beneficiary status
The process may be different for each plan, but here is a normal step-by-step process:
- Go to the official website
Each government scheme will have its own portal. Here are a few examples:
PM-Kisan (farmers’ income support): PMKISAN.GOV.IN
Ayushman Bharat (Health Insurance) : Mera.pmjay.gov.in
Principal Minister Avas Yojana (Housing): PMAYMIS.GOV.IN

See with a manu item or a title for button, such as know your position, check the beneficiary, or beneficiary list.
3.Provide required details
You may have to provide:
Aadhaar number or mobile number
Registration/Application ID
Bank account information (wherever applicable)

Eligibility status
Payment History
Final transfer date
