Rajkot
Rajkot is a large city in the western Indian state of Gujarat. It is situated in the region called Saurashtra. Famous for its cultural heritage and industrialization, this is the administrative headquarters of Rajkot district. It is an ancient city with history dating back to the 16th century. This is the capital of the princely state of Saurashtra during British rule. This city was also the childhood home of Mahatma Gandhi. The house Kaba Gandhi No Delo, in which he was staying, is now a museum.
Rajkot is an industrial hub that is crucial and especially located with the manufacturing sectors.
